In brief: Windows NT and Digital Unix get cosy

Compaq and Microsoft have reached agreement on making their competing software systems NT and Digital Unix work better together.

Compaq will also port its Non-Stop Kernel operating system to Windows NT. The deal aims to improve the scalability and reliability of Microsoft's operating system.
