An investigation by the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) into Microsoft's business practices has ended without anti-trust action.
The Japanese authority has decided there is no need to open a case against the software vendor for anti-competitive practices in the browser market, bringing the 12-month investigation to an end.
The JFTC had voiced concerns about contracts Microsoft had with some Internet Service Providers - but the company has since amended those contracts.
