Intel has unveiled its new range of PRO/100 S network security-enabled adapters designed to improve ebusiness security across LANs.
Whereas traditional firewalls protect LANs from external attacks, the server and management adapters help provide end-to-end security over the network, which Intel claims will protect against internal and external attacks.
Both adapters support Internet Protocol Security, which is recognised as a network security standard for ebusiness transactions.
