Business consultancy, Cap Gemini, has signed a global alliance with Microsoft to provide a portfolio of services and customized solutions based on the Windows 2000 operating system (OS).
Kathy Coleman, UK Microsoft practice manager at Cap Gemini, said: "The scalability for enterprises is impressive but it's not the only system we look at. Microsoft sees us as a good channel to market but Cap Gemini will only advise on what's good for its customers, hence the alliance with so many partners".
Cap Gemini will initially focus on the ecommerce, knowledge management and retail markets.
