Microsoft has released its latest application for Windows 2000 - the Exchange Conferencing Server.

The product will let thin client users access and share work held on a company's central servers via the Internet and intranets, using voice, data and video conferencing.

The final version of Exchange 2000 will be available by early summer, but Release Candidate 1 is available for download next week.

The software giant has also released NetMeeting software, which includes IP multicasting abilities that reduce the amount of bandwidth needed by streaming audio and video.
