A fisheries officer responsible for patrolling the Sussex coast has been caught leading a double life as an Internet pirate.
Stephen Holman, who enforces fishing quotas between countries, was found trading in fake Microsoft software under his pseudonym, 'The Software Man'.
He ordered almost 1,000 forged Microsoft Office Pro97 CDs over the Internet from the US but was caught by police before he could import them to the UK.
In related news, the Business Software Alliance has launched a campaign to shut down Web sites trading in illegal software. It intends to replace their home pages with information about the BSA.
