One2One is to use technology from Micromuse to monitor its WAP switches.
The mobile network operator will use Micromuse's flagship Netcool software, to keep an eye on voice data and Internet traffic. The software is already deployed at its service operations centre on kit from vendors including Cisco, Ericsson, Nortel and Phone.com.
The value of the deal has not been disclosed, but One2One said it was attracted by Micromuse's rapid roll out of the network monitoring software, and the fact it should scale as its network and WAP services grow.
