Microsoft's troubles continued to grow as lawyers in the US yesterday filed a lawsuit bringing together 170 different customer cases against the software giant.
The class action suit accused Microsoft of deliberately damaging or removing competitors from the software marketplace, allegedly leading to higher prices and less choice for consumers.
Lawyers are seeking damages on behalf of millions of Microsoft customers - a bill that could add up to billions of dollars.
The new action expands on earlier class action suits brought against the software giant, which only related to its Windows operating system.
