Marconi has selected Micromuse's Netcool software suite to monitor network faults and service availability in its new Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Liverpool.
The centre will manage Marconi's growing network of services for European telecommunications operators and service providers.
Bill Eckels, VP for managed network services at Marconi, said the Micromuse product was selected for its "out-of -the-box deployment and quick integration capabilities".
The Netcool software suite collects voice and net data from multiple management environments and processes faults in real-time.
Leading systems integrator, Abilitec is responsible for the Netcool deployment, training and support services for the NOC.
