Linux specialist Caldera has reported increased losses for its latest financial quarter.
The company - which is in the process of acquiring the Unix business of Santa Cruz Operation (SCO) - made a net loss of $7.5m, compared with $2.2m in the same quarter last year.
Revenues rose marginally from $1.1m to $1.2m.
The company put the losses down to "infrastructure investment, advertising and marketing development and strategic development as well as non-cash charges for the amortization of deferred compensation".
