High street photographic retailer Jessops has won a contract to become the first UK firm confirmed as an official Microsoft internet photo printing partner.

Windows XP, which will hit the shelves next week, contains facilities for the management of digital imaging and the deal means Jessops will be the developer of choice for XP users' digital photographs.

UK firm Pixology will provide the technology for Jessops' online digital development 'lab'.
