Scandinavian browser specialist Opera has made a distribution agreement with compression software company Aladdin.

The deal will see the two companies promoting and distributing each other's products through existing channels.

For instance users can buy and download the latest version of Opera via Aladdin's website as well as from its store. The browser can also be installed via Aladdin's third party software offerings.

Opera will promote Aladdin on its website with banner ads and distribute Aladdin's stuffIt software.
