Dell has won a three-year contract for management of PCs from Honeywell.

The exact value of the deal hasn't been disclosed though the companies have said it is worth several million dollars. It covers 16,000 desktop machines and laptops and spans 15 European countries.

Dell has been increasingly pursuing services as a revenue stream, in this case playing in a space that has traditionally been occupied by companies such as Computacenter.

This managed services deal covers installations, help desks, hardware support and asset management.

The first stage of the rollout begins in Belgium, France, Germany and the UK.
