
A £1,350 slice of green tech

A bamboo-encased laptop made by PC and netbook maker Asus, shown off as a concept earlier in the year is set to go on sale within weeks.
The company, which has previous dabbled with leather laptops and is even contemplating using papier-mâché, today launched the Bamboo Series Notebook at the Stuff Live Consumer Electronic Show in London, claiming the device is 'truly green' inside as well as out.
