What is it:
13-inch ultra-portable laptop
Typical price:
£1,500
We like:
Superb widescreen display; light and very well built; integrated 3G/HSDPA; excellent performance
We don't like:
Not enough USB ports; overloaded with pre-installed software
The judgement:
Beautifully designed and reassuringly robust, the lightweight Sony Vaio VGN-Z11WN/B marries a 13.1-inch screen with good portability and integrated 3G/HSDPA. It's not flawless but, if you can afford it, you won't be disappointed
