What is it:
12.1-inch netbook with Via Nano CPU

Typical price:
£390

We like:
High-resolution, 1,280x800-pixel display; ergonomic keyboard; good performance due to Via's Nano processor; long battery life; easily expandable memory

We don't like:
Reflective display with only average brightness

The judgement:
The Samsung NC20 performs significantly better than netbooks based on Intel's Atom processor, thanks to its Via Nano CPU. Together with a relatively large screen and excellent battery life, it's one of the best netbooks you can get
