What is it:
10.1-inch netbook with 160GB hard drive

Typical price:
£280

We like:
Budget-friendly version of one of our favourite netbooks

We don't like:
Thicker and heavier than its predecessor; included file-syncing software didn't impress us

The judgement:
While the new HP Mini 110 is less expensive than the Mini 1000 and doesn't stray far from the same mould, there are some subtle design changes - and they're not always for the best
