As for me, I will never buy an HP computer again. I bought a HP Pavilion 6360 a few years back. Until recently, it functioned perfectly well, and then the harddrive died. Any backup data that would've been saved on the harddrive would be useless. The recovery CD won't work anymore (is a storage compartment on the machine too much to ask?), and HP offers NO support for their older equipment. When they feel like it's time, you're on your own! Do you fish? It'll make a nice boat anchor! It would have made a nice first machine for the neighbor kid. At least HP could offer downloadable drivers for the video, sound, etc. on the HP website. How much trouble could that be?
