When you have to walk three miles in blistering heat to get a drink of water then someone offering you a laptop to carry on your journey might get the odd strange look.
Ok not applicable everywhere but it illustrates the point that there are other priorities to address which could be considered by some to have a slightly higher priority than a clockwork laptop.
