Interesting, but no teleworking?

If we're to believe "global warming" and/or "peak oil" etc. we'll all have to travel less.

Won't this mean that technology will have to help "virtual meetings" rather than only help face-to-face meetings?

Do virtual spaces such as "Second Life" and 3b.net show a more likely future?
