So, in five to ten years time all of our insurance premiums will be taking a big leap upwards as the companies keep getting five thousand pound claims cropping up because their table got destroyed when their kids/friends/pets spilling a glass of some liquid of other all over it making it fizzle and smoke ...

I expect at that stage we will long for the good old days when tables didn't cost much and just did what tables are designed for, namely supporting the sort of things on them that you wouldn't want to get tipped all over your new, very expensive, non-portable computer!
