At £269 the Bookeen costs about the same as 40 paperbacks. Taking into account the cost of ebooks the overall cost is much greater. If ebooks are half price then the breakeven point is about 60-70 books. By the time you have read that many books the Bookeen will be obsolete. I think I will wait for a better price point.
