What Jobs does not understand is that he is losing business as he waits. With the one-to-one push right now, MacBooks are double the price of other netbooks. I have to make a budget for our district and am seriously considering switching to a Windows format. It is half the price while being double relevant in the business world. I get a lot of pressure to make the switch and at half the price, it might happen. If Apple came out with something comparable, I might be able to make a better argument. I would love to keep the district Mac, but Jobs is not making it easy. The last district I worked for, just made the switch for the same reasons, and they have 65,000 kids.
