Putting aside the fanboys and juvenile commentators who claim to speak for all Mac users I was quick to learn that arrogance and complacency are the precursors to disaster. I've always run anti-virus on my Mac and currently use Clam AV via Leopard Cache Cleaner. Someone, somewhere will write viruses for the Mac and I like to be prepared. Furthermore, it's good policy to consider one's PC neighbours, who could still get a virus passed on by a Mac, especially if they're working alongside you developing websites...
