Orchestream releases WAN performance suite
By Dominic Maher
Published: Thursday 30 March 2000
Network management company Orchestream has released its Managed Network Services (MNS) suite to provide WANs with application-level performance from one central point.
Ashley Ward, CEO at Orchestream, told Silicon.com: "Web users want things to be instant. To make that happen, there needs to be an automated tool to allow network managers to configure the architecture that's required and to define what level of service they get."
Ward added: "If companies want new features or services on a network they need to reconfigure all routers. This can be done remotely with the only vendor-independent tool on the market that has the capabilities."
Orchestream's goal is to provide a single directory that integrates the many currently used by companies in their networks.
