In brief: Intel becomes subject of price cut rumours

US wires are reporting that Intel is about to embark on a series of price cuts. Analysts predict 350Mhz processors will fall from £379 now to £128 by October. Chips for mobile PCs are also expected to fall from £213 to £97 by September. Intel refused to comment on the rumours.
