Lexmark has released software to enable the beta 2 release of Windows NT 5.0 to make use of the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP), which is intended to make distributed printing via the Internet easier.
Lexmark said it is the first printer manufacturer to supply IPP print server software which works with the latest beta version of the upcoming Microsoft operating system.
