Microprocessor specialist AMD has suffered its second quarterly loss this year.

Also its and the fourth consecutive loss, the company blamed falling semiconductor and PC prices.

Commenting on the results, the CEO of the company warned that it would not be able to reverse the decline by the next quarterly report. Long-time rival Intel has also recently had to cut costs.

It announced the temporary closure of fabrication plants last week.
