Intel has failed in its bid to sue memory chip-maker, Silicon Storage Technology (SST), for patent infringement.
A US District court in Delaware dismissed the case because Intel failed to establish the court's jurisdiction over the matter. Intel had claimed Silicon Valley-based SST had infringed four of its patents concerning flash memory products.
SST chief executive, Bing Yeh, reaffirmed the uniqueness of his company's products, and said he hopes Intel will not pursue the matter further.
