HP adds printers to digital workplace

Hewlett-Packard (HP) will today launch two laser printers and a network copier, as part of its Digital Workplace Strategy.

The HP Colour LaserJet 4500, with 32MB RAM, and the Colour LaserJet 8500, with 64MB RAM, are designed to provide corporates with easy to set up colour printing, priced from $4,300 and $5,100 respectively.

The Mopier 320 network uses Web JetAdmin 5.0 software and includes dual scan heads, 32ppm and a 600dpi print engine.
