Rendition, a supplier of graphics accelerators for PCs, is set to open two new engineering facilities, one in Portland, Oregon, the other in Bracknell, UK.
In an endorsement of the UK skills base, the graphics chip company - acquired by Micron Technology in September for $90m in stock - said it was looking worldwide for the best possible workforce.
The Bracknell-based team will be located in the same building as a sales division of Micron Europe and will mostly be made up of a team that was formerly part of LSI Logic.
