Ford Motor Company's automotive systems subsidiary, Visteon, is set to unveil a massive Internet sales drive at this week's Frankfurt Motor Show.
According to reports in the Wall Street Journal, the company will use the Web to sell hi-tech car accessories and parts directly to customers, bypassing the firm's worldwide dealer network.
Visteon is also expected to start using the Internet as the backbone for its supplier transactions.
