The Ministry of Defense (MoD) has signed a deal with Toplevel Computing to install a 4,000-seat licence of its OfficeForms package to replace paper-based forms at Army headquarters.
The move follows a pilot scheme which saw the 100 most frequently used forms switched to an electronic format. The MoD uses 11,300 paper forms for all forces covering administration procedures for things such as housing applications, conduct sheets and expense claims.
The installation will take place at Army Formation Headquarters around the world and is currently being considered by the Navy and RAF.
