Shipments in the US colour inkjet market have risen to over 4.8 million for the third quarter of 1999, according to the latest figures from IDC.
The market has grown by 34 per cent over the same quarter last year, and 24 per cent over the previous quarter.
Hewlett-Packard (HP) stole the limelight with nearly 60 per cent of desktop colour laser shipments for the period and remains number one position, with Lexmark making is first appearance in the top three.
