Weekend reports that PC makers that use Intel's components have been blocked from exporting to Lebanon have taken the world's largest chipmaker by surprise.
Lebanon's As-Safir newspaper said 15 containers of Intel-based products were held up at Lebanese customs, in accordance with a law that prevents trade with any company that has dealings with Israel.
The country is technically still at war with Israel, where Intel has a chips fabrication plant.
An Intel spokeswoman said the company is investigating the report.
