Minolta and SuSe seal open source printer OS partnership

Minolta and SuSE, the Linux distributor, are teaming up to offer support for the open source operating system for the PagePro range of Minolta printers.

Version 6.3 of SuSE Linux has a driver supporting the PagePro range, which allows users to view the printers in the user window.

Minolta is also looking to extend the use of the operating system to digital copiers, digital cameras and scanners.
