Expedia.co.uk has announced sales figures which it claims makes it the UK's fastest growing online travel company.
The company's revenue, which is generated through the sale of air tickets, hotel rooms and package holidays, was six times higher than the figures for the same period in 1998.
The company said the growth figures, which it claims are higher than those of Lastminute.com, are proof the online travel market is particularly suited to e-retail.
