
Nokia has unveiled its first Symbian based multimedia smartphone.

Called the Nokia 9210, the device takes the form of a next generation Communicator handheld and features Windows compatible applications, full web and WAP browsing at 43.2 Kbps and basic voice telephony.
The product is aimed at heavy internet and telephony users in large businesses who want to link to corporate intranet messaging and back end systems remotely.
Speaking at the Nokia conference in Prague this afternoon, Anssi Vanjaki, Executive VP, Nokia Mobile Phones, said: "This is our first product to utilise Symbian. It is another Communicator and we are convinced this is the concept, which will lead to faster convergence."
