Numerous faults with Sony's Playstation 2 have been reported, just two months after its official UK launch.

Ann Robinson on the BBC's Watchdog program will tonight reveal flaws in the PS2 machine that has attracted at least 60 complaints from the public, many infuriated by the system failing to work on Christmas day.
A spokesman for Sony said some of the problems were due to users misunderstanding the system's instructions and using unofficial leads to connect the machine to a TV set.
Previously, Sony revealed its promise of backwards-compatibility between the PS2 and the original Playstation's games may not work properly, if at all.
Sony has experienced a number of issues regarding its latest assault on the home entertainment market. Manufacturing problems initially slowed down distribution at the console launch, causing a mass scramble to get hold of the device in time for Christmas.
