US Army fights face-to-face

Face-recognition the next big thing for the military...

Face-recognition development tools are fuelling the US Army's war against terror with future potential for high-security applications.

The software has been licensed from face-recognition development company, Visage, which yesterday saw its shares rise by a massive four per cent following the announcement of the deal.

Viisage will receive more royalties as the use of its software spreads around the US and the globe.
