
PC maker gets tough on memory makers...

Dell is seeking to reduce the cost of memory for its PCs by creating deals with a larger number of memory manufacturers.
The company has started procuring memory chips from Taiwanese firm Nanya in order to encourage competion between suppliers rather than co-operation.
The company's CEO, Michael Dell, has accused DRAM suppliers of creating a cartel to push prices up.
