
Security firm shakes on Mountain Wave deal...

Shares in security software firm Symantec rose steadily yesterday after it confirmed its acquisition of enterprise security management software and services business Mountain Wave.
Symantec shares closed up 6.7 per cent at $33.56 on the Nasdaq.
The $20m all-cash acquisition gives Symantec Mountain Wave's patent-pending CyberWolf technology which is able to automate the detection of security incidents.
CyberWolf will be integrated into Symantec's Cupertino enterprise security product.
