Apple devotees are expected to be shown the latest iMac model, complete with a 17-inch screen, at next week's Macworld Expo.
Sales of the 15-inch model have stagnated and Steve Jobs is clearly hoping to re-inject some interest into his flagging products with the latest upgrade.
With Apple's traditional faithful of designers and assorted creative types still resisting the shift to PCs the larger screen iMac seems to be a logical addition to the range.
