EMC seals Accenture contract

Mmm, platform-independent storage consultancy...

Storage giant EMC has signed a deal with Accenture to provide a "platform independent" storage consultancy.

EMC said the new venture was a genuine attempt to provide independent consultancy, and will be kept completely separate from its existing 1,400-strong professional services organisation, which specialises in EMC hardware.

EMC has signed a five-year deal with IT services group Accenture to help provide the service and accelerate its roll-out.
