What is it:
Touchscreen smartphone with GPS and HSDPA
We like:
Crisp and sharp display; GPS and HSDPA; extensive media support
We don't like:
No wi-fi; a few interface bugs still need to be ironed out; camera doesn't always take good shots
The judgement:
We commend RIM for entering the highly competitive touchscreen market with an innovative product but there's still a lot of room for improvement. Our experience with the Strom has driven us to the conclusion that it's not RIM's best device and while it has some redeeming features we think RIM can do much better in the future
