Now that Microsoft has licenced its' ActiveSync technology to both PalmOne and Symbian we will soon see a plethora of devices coming to market with Exchange email clients built-in, effectively sounding a death-toll to the position RIM holds in the marketplace unless it has some very fancy innovations up its sleeve; funky new devices like the RAZR lookalike QWERTY Pocket PC device from Motorola (the Moto Q - due Q1 2006) are setting a high benchmark.
