Perhaps the reason for the Blackberry's popularity lies in the very simplicity that Microsoft (and others) are so keen to disparage. That simplicity means that, for many of us who are charged with the responsibility for mobility in our organisations, we can rely on these devices working when they are out in the field. Having suffered the appalling XDA, I know why my organisation will continue deploying Blackberry for some time yet.
