Dropping a malformed file in the apps directory will make most Symbian devices unusable until they are hard reset. Dropping a malformed system font file on most Symbian devices will cause them to fail to boot. If this is his idea of "battle hardened robustness" I guess my idea of battle is a lot differnt than theirs.
In my experience as a security developer on mobile devices, Symbian is actually the most fragile system out there today by a long shot.
