Airport network touches down ahead of schedule

In a welcome change for the industry, an IT project has actually finished, not just on time but early.
Hampshire-based networking reseller, Milgo Solutions, completed the networking of the three major Scottish airports - Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen - on Friday, a year ahead of schedule.
The £3.5m project provides ATM backbones and 8,000 voice and data outlets at the three airports and forms part of a £54m redevelopment scheme at Edinburgh airport.
The three airports together carry almost 13 million passengers a year.
