Manufacturers gather for in-car technology drive
Wireless and internet technologies have taken pride of place at French car show Mondial de l'automobile which opened in Paris over the weekend.

For the first time, this year's show has a whole hall dedicated to showcasing in-car internet technology. The hall, called CyberH@ll, offers an insight into future generations of technology-enabled cars.
WAP, GPRS and other forms of internet connectivity are among the technologies included. Exhibitors include BMW promoting its iDrive technology, the Ericsson-built WirelessCar and Peugeot Citroen which has unveiled its Xsara Picasso model equipped with IBM technology for online access.
